After several years working in the defence industry developing a variety of combat systems for active use with submarines in the Royal Australian Navy, David Einstein left the Defence industry to establish Distinct.

David established Distinct in order to increase the standard of software development in Australia and to deliver world class solutions to the business community.

David has led Distinct through a series of growth periods and has most recently represented Distinct in the position of Project Director for a top tier American financial services organisation.

In this role David was responsible for overseeing the management and implementation of an international project to migrate and further develop one of the world's market leading financial modelling systems which is currently used by the majority of the financial services and actuarial firms around the world.

It is the running of successful projects such as this that led to the establishment of Distinct as one of the leading experts in the use of best practice for large scale software development.
